Duties

The Beck Community Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate the daily operations of a new NIMH-funded research study. The study will focus on working with community and academic partners to develop technology to evaluate the competence of community clinicians in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Responsibilities include: coordination and facilitation of focus groups with community partners about their priorities for this type of technology; transcribing and coding qualitative data from the focus groups according to the protocol timeline; maintaining databases and data trackers; conducting internal monitoring efforts to ensure compliance with policies; management of IRB protocols and requirements; conducting literature reviews and assisting with writing of manuscripts and grants; and additional duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organized, teamwork-focused, and have experience in coordinating IRB-approved research projects. In addition, the candidate will ideally have an interest in community mental health, implementation science, and/or CBT. Candidates who are fluent in Spanish are particularly encouraged to apply. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree or more and 1 year to 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
