The Grants Manager will independently provide pre- and post-award research and financial administration to Department of Surgery faculty/PI research focusing on basic science, translational research and clinical research/outcomes. Grants will have annual direct costs of > $250k. Coordinate, manage and track the entire proposal submission process including proposal development, budget preparation, management of subawardee requirements and all other pre-award activities. Manage all post award activities including account set-up, monitor all grant expenditures for compliance and accuracy, develop fund projections and analyses as required. This position reports to the senior administrator within the department and has a dotted reporting line to the PSOM Office of Research Support Services.
A Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
