Job Description

This Resource Technologist position reports to the Technical Director of the Human Immunology Core (HIC) Facility at the University of Pennsylvania. This individual is responsible for the performance of immunology assays including flow cytometry, multiplex luminex, digital ELISA, ELISA and ELISPOT. This individual is also responsible of performing blood and tissue processing work. In addition, this individual will assist the Technical Director with new assay development, data analysis and results reporting. Additional duties include equipment maintenance, reagent selection and validation, and developing or updating standard operating procedures. This individual is expected to be able to use the Microsoft office and other related software. Previous experience in data management and LIMS are desired but required. Position is contingent upon funding
