TEMP research specialist C is needed to run experiments investigating the evolution and biology of HIV and SIV. This individual will perform DNA/RNA extraction cloning and genetic characterization. They will also also implement and troubleshoot PCR protocols including Single Genome Amplification, next generation sequencing library preparation, sequencing chemistries, and high throughput purification methods. Molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA purification, PCR, cloning, and western blotting will be used on a daily basis.
