Job Description Summary
Board eligible or certified, Radiation Oncologist to provide health care services on a full-time basis in an owned or affiliated health care entity of Penn Medicine, namely, Grand View Health in Sellersville, PA. Provides inpatient hospital services as required and fulfills all medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which clinician is a member. Performs prompt, courteous and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services and with the standards established from time to time. Maintains license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania or location of affiliates, if applicable. Is expected to provide clinical coverage and build the clinical practice.
The Department of Radiation Oncology is hiring a Penn Medicine Clinician to be part of our growing network team in the Northwest Philadelphia suburbs. This position will be part of a team with at least two other physicians covering two or more centers. The individual will be expected to treat all sites of disease when appropriate and will report to the Medical Director. The individual will be the local disease site specific expert and as such will engage the disease site specific teams based in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Perlman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM). Thus, the individual will have responsibilities of exporting of high-quality, PCAM-based clinical pathways into network practice. Broad clinical experience is required but desired expertise include experience with head/neck cancer, lymphoma, gastro-intestinal cancers, or CNS.
QualificationsREQUIRED: M.D. degree; board eligible/certified in Radiation Oncology; DEA Licensure; ability to obtain license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania; 0-1 year of experience. Must pass all required background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
